What Manchester235 Actually Is
We are more than a room full of tables and machines. Manchester235 sits inside the Great Northern Warehouse in the heart of Manchester, and the whole place is put together around the idea that a night out moves in stages. You might arrive, grab a drink, have dinner, sit down at a table, drift over to poker. Or just walk straight past the restaurant and head for the lounge. Both ways of using the venue are normal.
We run 24 hours a day, every day of the week. There is no membership needed and you do not have to book ahead just to come in. Anyone aged 18 or over can enter; if you look under 25, bring a valid photo ID because our door team will almost certainly ask for it. The dress code is smart casual. In practice that means no need for a suit or a tie, but sportswear and gym hoodies will not fit the policy.

Being right in the city centre keeps the logistics simple. You can get here by tram, train, bus, taxi, rideshare or just walk from most central hotels. The primary entrance is through the Great Northern Warehouse. There is also a separate entrance by the Odeon cinema, which tends to be handy if you are coming from Deansgate or that side of town.
Gaming: The Floor, the Tables, the Poker Room
Our casino floor covers the familiar setup for a venue of this size. You will find slots, live table games and electronic terminals in one integrated space. Roulette and blackjack are both on the main floor, alongside other classic formats. If you prefer something a bit calmer than a live table with a dealer, the electronic versions are there so you can play the same games with less pressure.
The poker lounge sits apart from the main floor and has its own pace. It is not just a cordoned-off section - it is a dedicated room with its own schedule. Cash games typically run through the evening and late into the night across the week. Tournament formats are built into the regular schedule as well. Regional players tend to treat it as a regular stop, which tells you something about how consistent the room is.
If table games are new to you, we run learn-to-play sessions from time to time. On top of that, our team on the floor will talk you through basic rules, bet types and simple etiquette so you do not feel like you are stepping into something that only insiders understand. Most first-time visitors find the atmosphere more relaxed than they expected once they sit down.
A visit to the gaming side usually follows a simple pattern:
- Come in via the Great Northern Warehouse entrance or the Odeon-side door.
- Show photo ID at the door if you appear under 25.
- Walk onto the main floor for slots, electronic terminals and live tables.
- For poker, follow the internal signs to the separate lounge.
- Check the live cash game list or schedule at the poker desk.
- Register your name for any scheduled tournament before the advertised start time.
- Collect any eligible promotional vouchers at the cash desk before you head to a table.
One piece of general advice from us - set your budget before you reach the floor, not after. Deciding on a limit outside the gaming area makes it much easier to stick to once you are playing.
