The Poker Lounge
Our Poker Lounge is open every day, all day. No last orders, no lights-up at midnight - if you wander in at 3am on a Tuesday and want a seat, there will be a table running. For a city-centre room that kind of access is still unusual, and it is a big reason why we see a steady flow of regulars alongside visitors who are only in Manchester for a night or a short stay.
You will find us at 2 Watson Street, M3 4LP, inside the Great Northern Warehouse complex. Entry is free. We do not ask you to sign up for membership or complete forms at reception - you come in, show photo ID if you look under 25, and head straight for the Poker Lounge.

The poker room is not a side project squeezed into a corner of the main floor. It is a self-contained area with its own atmosphere, and we treat it as a core part of what we do.
Cash Games - What to Expect
Cash games run every night with a mix of stakes. In practice that means, on most days, we have at least one table that suits recreational players and another line-up that attracts more serious regulars. As the weekend approaches, things ramp up: tables open faster, the room gets fuller, the volume level climbs. Earlier in the week, the pace is usually calmer and less intense.
Getting yourself into a game is simple:
- Come to 2 Watson Street and be ready to show photo ID at the entrance if you appear under 25.
- Walk through to the Poker Lounge - any member of staff on the floor can point you in the right direction.
- Speak to the poker room team about what tables are running and which stakes are currently open.
- Sit down if there is a free seat, or add your name to the waiting list when your preferred game is already full.
- Buy chips either from the dealer at the table or from the main cashier, depending on what the team advise at that moment.
- Check the house rules with the dealer before you play your first pot. It is a short chat and worth doing, even if you have played here quite a few times.
- When you finish your session, cash out your chips at the cashier.
We use professional dealing staff and standard casino-grade tables, cards and chips. The smart-casual dress code is in effect across the entire venue, including the Poker Lounge, so turning up in full sports kit or a worn tracksuit can cause problems at the door.
One general pointer if you are new to live poker rooms: arriving a little before the busiest period gives you more space to talk with the team, understand the layout, and settle in before every seat is occupied.
